With a background in architecture and digital fabrication, and over a decade building innovative educational models that combine hands-on experimentation, collaborative learning, and digital tools, Santiago has spent his career on one question: how do we design learning environments that prepare people for uncertain futures?
As lead of EU-funded projects including Shemakes, DOIT, Phablabs 4.0, and POP-MACHINA, he brings both research depth and real-world practice to the table. In this conversation, he applies that experience to the challenge of mobility education, and what it takes to make it truly future-ready.
